Back to School Information August 10, 2010 |
Hi, Its that time again that children are going back to school. For most children, they don't have a handle on their ADHD and parents don't know what to do. Some parents will be approached by teachers this year saying their children should be tested for ADHD and put on medication. Funny how people that no absolutely nothing about the body are able to say what a child needs. Here are some links with some information to read up on to get a start on reducing ADHD symptoms. I also started going back to school myself. I have been out of work for 8 months and it just seems like I'm not going to find something. So I decided to increase my knowledge in the IT field and hopefully find something. Even that, I'm about out of money so I have to find a job. That reminds me of 10 years ago, I had an interests in computers, networking, and servers. It wasn't until 5 years ago that I decided to just go for it and make a move into this industry. I would be in a different position today if I would have started when I knew this is what I wanted to do. I just wanted to share a little bit about myself because this may be something you or your child is going through. Hesitating, uncertainty, and confusion does trip us up but you have to move on. Decide on something, and act on it. You can always change later. Thats the attitude I run with.
