I received an email from a Mother today and she mentioned Dr Pinkus. When this type of thing happens, I like to find out what these Dr's have to say. I found that he says the same things that I have been telling you, in my emails and on my site. He agrees with me about something that you should not do because is is so dangerous. I will talk about that in a minute. ADHD DiagonsisDr Pinkus talks about the diagnosis of ADHD. There isn't a real one. He says, "As there are no lab tests, no x-rays, no objective ways of really diagnosing this 'condition', I believe it is the only 'disease' in the history of man that can be 'determined' by so many lay people." Basically, anyone can look at a child or adult and say, I think you have ADHD because you are hyperactive or fidgety. He also mentions, "And the 'incidence' of this disorder has tripled in the last 10 years, worldwide." "Hmm, I'm suspicious. Sounds like a good case of marketing to me...." How many people are duped by this marketing scam? I know it looks like the drugs help but the longer one is on them, the worse off they are. These ADHD stimulant drugs are powerful. People sell them on the street like illegal drugs. He says, "they are classified as a Schedule II drug, a class that includes cocaine, methadone, methamphetamine and other drugs with a high potential for abuse." Child With ADHD and Mild Form of AutismDr Pinkus talks about a Mother that brought in her son with ADHD and a mild form of Autism. He is described as being, "a bit 'wild'."He goes on with, "I did evaluate him and found that his diet was mostly sugar. Breakfast cereals, soft drinks, snacks, fast foods--they are sugar and rob the child of nutrients needed to grow up correctly." Does this sound like your or your children's diet? "With this young child, we took him off of most sugars, supplemented him with a good source of Vitamin B1 (which will calm almost anyone down instantly), checked and found that he had food sensitivities (may be helped with digestive enzymes) and his adrenal glands were "tested" by the lack of good nutrition, lack of exercise and too much sugar." "So I treated him for several weeks on a vitamin regime, Pressure Points and light chiropractic adjustments." What was the end result? "About nine months into this program, my secretary once again informed me that the mother was again crying hysterically and waiting to talk to me." "This time she was laughing and crying at the same time. The Children's Hospital did a follow-up examination of this 9 year old. All of his tests were NORMAL. He no longer had 'ADHD'; his autism symptoms gone." You see, there is hope and drugs are not needed. Final points of this child's situation. 1. A young boy was pretty "active". (Most children are).
Children's TreatmentThis is the program that Dr Pinkus put the boy on. 1. Thiamine (Vitamin B1) is the vitamin needed by the nervous system to function correctly. Dr Pinkus recommends his B vitamin but it is a capsule and he does not say it contains the other essential B vitamins. 3. Calcium and Magnesium are two minerals that are essential to a child's growth, especially their nerves, hormones and bones/muscles. Calcium and Magnesium also helps a person sleep. What You Can Do At Home: A. Limit Sugar: Replace soft drinks, sugar drinks with good spring water. Get good low sugar natural cereals from the health food store. These are often organic, no bad colorings, sugars, etc. B. Replace cow's milk with alternatives such as Silk Milk. Most grocery stores have Silk products. C. Limit Video Games, Computers and TV: Stop an hour before bed. Limit to weekends and only an hour a day. D. Outside Activities: Get your child some air and space! Camps, Little League, parks, etc. Let you children be children! I use a product that has B vitamins and the minerals in it. It is a liquid vitamin and does wonders. There also is a child's version for children under 14 years old. Ask me about it.
