ADHD Basics Newsletter, Issue #021 -- Am I Scamming People February 18, 2009 |
I woke up this morning to find an email in my inbox from someone who put in a fake name and a fake email address. This person wants to save the world. That's not a bad thing to do, right? The funny thing is, he wants to save the world from me. He says I am a scam. Interesting. He gives me a fake name and a fake email and I am scamming people? You know what else is interesting? My real phone number is above the contact form when someone wants to send me an email. If he really wanted to know if I was a scam or not, why wouldn't he be man enough to call me for himself and find out? Well, as you may already know, I help people. Most of the help I provide, I don't make any money on. So much for scamming people with free information. Also, I spend hours on the phone talking to people about their life, their family, and what they can do to reduce ADHD symptoms. How much do I receive for that? Nothing. If I'm not mistaken, scammers make money off of people in their scams or they just spread lies around. I don't want to make this long, just wanted to let you know this John Doe is on a mission to save the world from me, claiming that I am scamming people. So, if you see something on the web about it, you will know what it is all about. I hope that it sends more people to my website so that they can receive help from me.
