Consider these Accommodation Questions
When Helping Students and Employees

Below on this page are some great questions that can be presented to an employer or a school teacher. It is also a good thing to read if you have ADHD to learn how the disorder affects you.

I remember having problems at one of my jobs. I did a lot of typing and I had a quota to meet. I wasn't doing to well and I told my boss about my condition. It didn't mean anything to her because either I made it or I was out the door.

I eventually found a new job and left. I could have talked to HR but I wasn't happy there in the 3 years that I worked for the company.

If you are a supervisor trying to learn about the condition, I want to say thank you. Since you are learning how you can help your employees with ADHD, I know that you care about them.

That is more than what most supervisors even care to do. Once again, thank you for your desire to learn and help.
