I am not sure exactly what diet you have been following, but I highly suggest trying the Feingold Program (feingold.org). It really worked for our family and is fairly easy to do once you get established. Please don't give up! Feingold can help with all sorts of issues, not just "ADD".

Change your diet by: TJ Chambers
I'm not sure how old you are but you will have to learn as much as you can and help your parents to understand what you are going through.
Diet is very important. Start off by eliminating sugar and dairy. Most processed foods have sugar in them. Read the labels. You also want to get off the other sweeteners like high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners.
Make sure you stabalize your blood sugar. If you consume sugar it spikes then it drops. That is one reason why sugar is bad.
Get a good amount of protein. Also eat as much fresh foods as possible. Don't eat to much fruit at one time. It can give you a rush of sugar. So get fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, fresh meats, chicken, fish.
It is difficult if you live with your parents and they buy all the food. Most people today rely on whatever is cheapest. This is no wonder why we have so many health problems in our country.
Vaccines can cause problems with heavy metal toxicities and the injection of foreign proteins into the body. I have talked to parents where they saw the symptoms appear after their child had their immunization shots.
Taking a good supplement is very beneficial. I will have some information about good herbal supplements soon. Visit my pages for videos and more information.
There is the Diet page, the diet review page, alternative treatments, etc.

ADD by: Anonymous
Foods that contain any artificial food coloring or any diet drink can causes ADD/ADHD symptoms. Talk to your doctor about testing you for heavy metal toxicity. My twin son's had lead levels considered unsafe by the EPA. Did you take a lot of antibiotics for ear infections when you were young? Or do you eat too much sugar? If yes, you could have too much yeast in your body and this can also cause brain fog.
